We have temperatures in the teens and a foot of snow in some parts of Louisville today. So how is one Louisville Biker spending his time?
Brad Wood is making himself a set of custom snow tires for his scooter and plans to take it out for a spin tomorrow. He designed them with dozens of short screws that should get that much-needed traction in the snow & ice.

Brad says “Snow and ice? I’m willing to try riding in it.” on his Facebook page. He is looking for someone to film the first ice run. Should be interesting.
Would you try this on your bike if you had an extra set of tires?
Often Louisville bikers are doing other projects and counting down the days till Spring, taking out the motorcycle isn’t even an option to most when the temperature is 18 degrees, and there’s a foot of snow in our driveway.
Great to see someone making the best of this weather and enjoying a little time on two wheels. Guess it helps if you have a custom set of spiked snow tires.
